Callum Johnson is only 27 so if the rumours are correct that would be a massive shock imo...😱 The last 2 games that Sarcevic has missed thru injuries we have missed his midfield nouse although some say he's not been up to standard...I think he's a big part of our midfield going forward and others now need to step up in his absence in the middle of the park... 6.5 out of 10 for me on the window as a whole...Losing Platt was the biggest blow and Young going could have been done much earlier in the window so we could have recycled the funds into a permanent signing up top... Sarcevic, Baldwin and Sanderson (Loan) have been very good imo...Benn and Diabate are unknown quantities atm due to only playing in 1 game but the early signs are good...Shepherd has looked ok at times but still not 100% yet on him but he defo has potential to trouble Kelly on a regular basis for the LCB position in the starting line up...Adams also looks a good option when he's fully match fit as well... Overall a poor performance from us not taking the chance to strike the ball when we can. Good games from Sanderson Bryne diabate and odur of the Xi. Poor from Smallwood, Richards and Halliday from the Xi. Off then bench Benn made real impact setting up cook and pointon desver some credit for his efforts of trying to play forwards.

I was in the away end and I was loving penaltys

A mix of questionable refereeing decisions and sloppy defending saw us lose a game we dominated for long periods...Sanderson superb up top and must start alongside Cook on Sat v Carlisle in the league... 2 poor pens in the shootout by Pattison and Cook (missed 4 of his last 6 spot kicks) saw us somehow lose a game we defo deserved to win in normal time... Lots of good things to take into the league game on Sat but we have to learn fast to put teams to bed when we dominate and stop giving sloppy free kicks away when defending (Free kick v Bromley for their consolation goal in a 3-1 win comes to mind recently along with the late free kick for Newcastle's 2nd!!!)... I agree Sam where did the ref get 7 mins injury time at the end of the game!!!...🙄🤔 UPTFC 🐔🐓🏟⚽️⚽️👏🏻
